The tradition

Both the grape and its derivatives (must, wine) have been used over the years in skin care. Egyptian women are known to have bathed in fermented wine to make their skin smoother, softer and brighter. The French Court Ladies also used fermented wine on the face, to make the skin smoother, brighter and to eliminate wrinkles. All this empirical knowledge, led researchers to study the composition of grapes and wine, in order to identify their constituents and properties, and what are their actions on the skin.

The composition of DC products is based on natural ingredients, more precisely on the richest constituents of the grape - grape seed extract and oil, and grape leaf extract - as well as fermented wine and grape juice, whose inspiration comes from the Touriga Nacional variety, considered the queen of Portuguese grape varieties. The main ingredients of DC products include Resveratrol, Polyphenols and Proanthocyanidins, potent Antioxidants, as well as Alpha, Beta and Polyhydroxy acids, obtained from fermented wine, essential ingredients for maintaining a young, smooth, luminous skin , and in combating skin aging. Resveratrol
Resveratrol is one of the main antioxidants extracted from the grape,
ui a powerful antioxidant, decongestant and regenerating action on the skin. Its marked Antioxidant action prevents the formation of oxygen free radicals, which are the most aggressive to the skin, being involved in the acceleration of skin aging.
Resveratrol also plays an important role in the synthesis of collagen and elastin, increasing the firmness and elasticity of the skin, delaying the appearance of wrinkles. Resveratrol thus prevents skin aging and maintains the skin's elasticity and firmness.
Alpha, Beta and Poly-Hydroxy-Acid Complex (AHA, BHA and PHA)
Scientific studies have proven that the composition of fermented wine is rich in Alpha, Beta and Polyhydroxy acids (AHA, BHA and PHA), which exert a superficial peel by removing dead cells on the skin's surface, making it softer, softer and bright. Thus, they promote cell exchanges and the absorption of anti-aging active ingredients by the skin, also eliminating skin blemishes.
